SOME NOTES FOR THE GUIDANCE OF PARENTS
SCHOOL FEE STRUCTURE FOR ALL CATEGORIES OF STUDENTS WILL BE REVISED IN MARCH 2003. THE DETAILS WILL BE GIVEN TO PARENTS BY OR BEFORE DECEMBER 2002.
Parents of Boarders are informed that frequent absence outside the school schedule is harmful for your ward/s. Therefore future absence, unless for an absolutely sound reason may not be granted by the Authorities.
With effect from the coming session, March 2001, there will only be ONE FINAL EXAMINATION in March each year. The Assessment for the rest of the year will be based on class/home work done throughout the year so FREQUENT ABSENCE IS BOUND TO AFFECT THE OVERALL RESULT IN FUTURE.
Boarders will now no longer be granted arbitrary leave for ordinary matters, except in the case of sick leave. THE 2ND SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH IS THE ONLY STIPULATED DAY FOR AVAILING AN "EXEAT", OVERNIGHT OR OTHERWISE.
Boarders may only receive Telephone Calls on Sundays, from 9:00am till 4:00pm.
Before each Vacation, Parents are given a "Requirement Slip" indicating requirements of your ward, in the nature of uniform, dress or misc. items. Both, the required items AND the slip, must be handed over to the Hostel in charge before your ward is permitted back to the Hostel. This would include Report Cards, duly signed, if after any vacation.
This school does not recognise the need for your ward to take books home during vacations. if you must, please give your ward some general reading, writing and Mathematical exercises of your own. this is to prevent "by rote learning", and also boredom on the part of your ward. School is where he/she is exposed to books most of the time, Holidays are... well HOLIDAYS, & should be treated as such.
For Security reasons, Parents are not permitted to enter the Hostels. If you want to check your ward/s belongings and their condition you are welcome to call for his/her trunk and check its contents below.
Please do not give extra garments, toys or expensive items to your ward/s to keep in the Hostel as the school cannot accept responsibility for loss/damage to them.
BLAZERS ARE A COMPULSORY PART OF A BOARDER'S UNIFORM, REGARDLESS OF CLASS. FOR DAY SCHOLARS, STD III & ABOVE MUST HAVE BLAZERS TOO.
From March 2001, the people who make the uniforms will supply the same in the school campus, but on certain dates, which are currently being worked out.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ON THE 11TH & 12TH MARCH 2001, TEXT BOOKS & STATIONERY ARE BEING DISTRIBUTED IN THE SCHOOL CAMPUS. IF YOU MISS OUT THESE TWO DAYS, YOU WILL THEN HAVE TO GO TO THE SUPPLIER IN RANCHI. IN EITHER CASE, THE HOSTEL WILL NO LONGER UNDERTAKE TO SUPPLY THE BOOKS.
FEES ARE PAYABLE ONLY BY CASH, OR BANK DRAFT. CHEQUES ARE DEFINITELY OUT.
